How are the apartments equipped?

Our apartments are furnished to provide you with the best comfort possible. You can find the details of the equipment for each apartment on our website. Each apartment description comes with a detailed list of the equipments we can provide you with, as soon as an apartment has caught your attention.

 

What is the shortest duration for a rental?

We accept stays for three nights or more.

 

How can I book an apartment?

The reservation service on the website makes it easy for you to book:

 After having created an account, and having accepted the estimate cost and our general terms and conditions for apartment rental, you will be redirected to a secure website to finalize your reservation.

A down-payment of 30% will be required to finalize your reservation.

A confirmation e-mail will be sent as soon as the down-payment appears on our secure account. This e-mail will give you all the information for your reservation.

GO TO BORDEAUX will be available for you, from the moment you make your reservation up till the end of your stay in Bordeaux.

 

I don’t want to make a reservation through your website. Is there another way I can pay?

If you prefer not to make your reservation through our payment website, you can mail us your down-payment check to the order of: Go to Bordeaux. We will confirm your reservation as soon as we receive your check. If you wish to make a bank transfer, we will be happy to send you our bank account details.

 

Do we have to bring our own towels?

No, all required linens are provided.

 

Is there an Internet connection in the apartment?

Our apartments have a Wi-Fi connection, except if the apartment card indicates otherwise.

 

Is smoking allowed in the apartments?

For everyone’s comfort, all our apartments are non-smoking.

 

Are pets allowed in the apartments?

As a general rule, pets are not  allowed.

 

Are housecleaning fees charged in addition to the rent?

Yes, the cost of cleaning and laundry will be requested at the time of payment, to guarantee an apartment in perfect condition when you arrive.

In addition, you will also find the option "Housecleaning during your stay" available in our Concierge Services.

 

What does it mean to “return the apartment in good standing”?

It means no damage or breakages. It means emptied trashcans, clean and organized tableware, and mopped floors. All your personal belongings have to be removed from the apartment. If an apartment is returned in poor condition, refurbishment will be charged to the tenant.

  

Do we need to clean our sheets before the departure?

No, the sheets only need to be taken off the bedding and folded. We will take care of the cleaning.

 

Once in Bordeaux can I extend my stay?

If the apartment is not already booked, it will be our pleasure to extend your stay. It is however safer to make all your plans ahead of time, since our apartments are very popular. 

 

How do I get the apartment’s keys?

A Go To Bordeaux agent will welcome you on your arrival to help you settle in.

 

When is the security deposit paid back?

When you return the keys, one of our agents will check the apartment. If there is no damage, the security deposit is refunded (if paid in cash it will be returned in cash upon your departure). In the event of damage or breakage, the repair costs will be deducted from the security deposit and only the remaining sum (if there is one) will be returned. The time needed to return the security deposit will depend on the gravity of the damage.

 

What are the reasons for the security deposit to be cashed in?

Generally speaking, everything that prevents you from returning the apartment in the state you found it in:

-        Broken tableware

-        Damaged TV or Hi-Fi equipment

-        Broken furniture

-        Stained or damaged walls or tapestries

-        Broken glass or mirror

-        Broken or missing painting or decoration item

-        Flooding or fire

-        Broken or stained chair, couch seat

-        Dirty apartment

-        Damaged sheets or towels

-        Left behind personal items

 

What should we do in case of a problem in the apartment?

Don’t hesitate to give us a call, we will be happy to assist you.

 

When should I arrive?

Our services are available every day throughout the year. You can check-in between 9:00am and 7:00pm, check-out between 9:00am and 2:00pm. Additional charges will be due outside these time slot.

Is it possible to invite guest friends over?

Every apartment is designed to host a certain number of people. During your reservation you will be informed of the apartment’s maximum capacity. This limit is to be respected.

 

May I cook in the apartment?

Yes. All our apartments come with an equipped kitchen, so you may cook freely.

 

How can I cancel my reservation?

To cancel, please send us an email telling us why you wish to cancel your reservation. 

  1. If more than 15 days before entering the premises, the amounts paid will be refunded in full.
  2. If less than 15 days before entering the premises, your 25% deposit will be retained.

All tourist products offered on this website are the result of partnerships with professional tourism service providers

Each product displays our partner logo, which you also can find at the bottom of our home page under “our partners ". 

 

Do I get a refund if I change my mind ?

As soon as you have booked an apartment on our website, you can log in to your account and add any service or a tourism product anytime you want. Some services are even available for booking as late as for the day after!

Therefore, in case of cancelation on your behalf, we do not refund services or tourism products.

 

What do I gain in booking through your website rather than directly through the tourism product provider ?

PEACE OF MIND! Plus, it’s way easier for you! 

Go to Bordeaux has selected the best tourism products available in Bordeaux. This way, you do not need to:

- Seek endlessly among the many tourism offers available in Bordeaux

- Separately book or/and pay each product to each provider.

Is it more expensive to book the services and products through Go to Bordeaux ? 

Absolutely not!

The products we offer on our website are exactly those our partners offer themselves, at the same rate.

 

What if it the weather is bad for my lunch-cruise ? Or if the baby-sitter I asked for can't make it ?

In case of cancellation of the service ordered, Go to Bordeaux is committed to working out an alternative with you.

If no alternative plan works, you will -of course- be refunded in full.
